Description:
This is one of the most collectible vintage watches of all time, a 1959 rare and highly collectible classic IWC Ingenieur with rare "double slash at 12 with space" original dial. This is also the very first of the calibre 853 Ingenieurs that were introduced at the beginning of 1959. Comes with IWC box and stainless steel IWC soft mesh bracelet. Bought from the son of the original owner who bought it new in Germany in 1959. The last picture shows the Certificate of Authenticity for this particular issued by IWC just now after this watch was sent to Switzerland for personal examination by IWC watch-makers in Schaffhausen, Switzerland and passed Quality Control at IWC back in London. More photos available upon request.
