1965 RAF Omega Seamaster 30 with Ranchero Style Original Dial with R.A.F. Officer’s Name and Serial Number on the Caseback.
This is a rare watch. You see variations on the Seamaster 30 model that were all made in the mid-1960’s with the same style R.A.F markings on the caseback s as this one.
What is even more unusual about this watch is that it belonged to a Flight Sergeant in the RAF Regiment and therefore, has R.A.F.R. engraved on the back along with his name and Serial Number. You can look up his Service Record online and see that he served in Cyprus and Singapore. This is in keeping in that all these watches I’ve ever seen were “Issued” to serving RAF officers in the Far East from about 1964-1967.
look at those fantastic pumpkin lume hour markers!
