1953 British Military Issued RAF Pilots Watch with Numbers on Caseback 6645/101000/6B/542/189/53 British MoD “Fat Arrow” Tritium Dial Military Crown Fixed Bar Lugs Original Dust Cover and Spacer
Rare and very collectable British Military RAF wristwatch from 1953. These watches are a very nice size at 36mm in diameter (not counting the chunky original military winding crown) and have an additional soft-iron dust cover and soft-iron dial encasing the whole Omega chronometer-rated movement in soft-iron to protect it from being magnetised by the instruments in the jet fighter cockpit. This watch also retains its original spacer ring holding the movement in place (these are often lost at service).
