2001 Issued CWC SBS Diver’s Watch Issued to a Royal Marine Member of the Special Boat Service “SBS” Tritium Dial PVD Case

Very hard to find genuinely issued examples of these great tool watches. Just imagine, this watch has been on the wrist of a serving British Special Forces SBS Marine!

The watch itself is in great condition with probably the best condition PVD Coating we have seen on one of these with just the right small amount of WABI to show that it has had a military life and with a great webbing on the caseback showing the original military NATO strap.

The caseback has all the correct markings and crucially the military issue number 055/01 confirmed by Silvermans as being of a a batch of only 500 watches to the SBS in that year of 2001.

Confirmed by Silvermans/CWC as being one of the first and smallest batch of their watches issued to British Special Forces Special Boat Service in 2001. Superb original mint dial.

…just to say that this is one of the rarest watches issued in 2001 according to CWC Addict “The lowest numbers (maybe 100 watches) have larger numbers engraved in a straight line with a slash between the number and year, and a smaller lume pearl.”
