Omega WW2 Pilot’s Military Wristwatch 6B/159 Issue in 1943. Very Hard to Find in This Original Condition

For sale here is a super example of a genuine WWII Omega RAF Pilot’s watch. This is a rare, very collectible and very hard to find watch in this 100% original condition.

The watch has its original full length lugs Duralim alloy mid-case in superb condition with its original full length elegant lugs giving this watch its unique shape and curved fit to the wrist. Usually, these lugs have been shortened or re-drilled.  Original stainless steel back with all the correct RAF issue markings on it. The date of manufacture of the watch in 1943 according to the Omega’s own records for the serial number on the movement. The movement is the legendary Omega 30T2 with centre seconds – one of the most robust and reliable workhorses Omega ever made and was capable of chronometer rated time keeping. This one has been fully serviced and is keeping time to within 5 seconds a day! Remarkable for a 80 year old watch. The dial is the original Omega with just the right patina. The blued steel hands are also original.
