Description
Here we have one of the watches we really love, a 1950 Dennison Cased Omega solid 9ct gents wristwatch.
in the 1950’s Britain was still on the gold standard so gold imports were severely restricted therefore Omega would import their movements and dials and have the renowned Birmingham case maker Denisson make these cases are highly priced by collectors as they are even better than the Omega cases beautifully made and slightly thicker in solid gold.
This particular example has a very rarely seen Dial configuration with Arabic numerals at 2457 810 and 11 and battons at 1369 and 12. The watch restrains its dolphin solid gold Dauphine hands and the original solid gold Omega Winder has Omega symbol in the middle.
Together with the dial being original Omega factory finish as evidenced by its gentle vintage patina, they make this a perfect dress Watch or everyday wearer with its very reliable calibre 265 (based on the legendary Omega 30T2 manual winding movement).
Fully serviced and keeping good time this Watch is ready to wear and enjoy and his back by arm free one year mechanical Warranty.
With the price of gold skyrocketing at the moment and Omega Vintage Watches also doing well, this makes this Watch a very good investment.
