Description
Here we have a beautiful condition 2007 (Z Serial) Rolex Submariner Steel and Gold reference 16613T (the “T” stands for Transitional) in no holes case.
This suffix is used to denote a specific period in the late 2000s (roughly 2003–2008) when the 16613 model transitioned from the older, traditional design features to newer, modern ones, just before the introduction of the 6-digit ceramic (116613) models.
Key features of the 16613T transitional model include:
- No Holes Case: The lugs do not have visible holes on the side for the spring bars.
- Solid End Links (SEL): The bracelet features solid end links rather than the hollow end links of earlier 5-digit models.
- Engraved Rehaut: The inner bezel (rehaut) is engraved with “ROLEXROLEXROLEX”.
- “Trous Borgnes” (Sunken Holes): A French term often cited to explain the “T” as the transition away from spring bar holes.
Note: The “T” in 16613T refers to the case/model evolution and should not be confused with the “T” on older dials that indicates Tritium lume.
This is the one owner from new Watch with the original warranty card in Anand answer boxes, booklets and tags.
The 18k Gold and steel Oyster bracelet is full length and in superb tight condition. The 18 carat gold runs right through the Clapp on this model!
