This is without doubt the best example of a Smiths British Military issued watch we have ever seen. It dates from 1967 and is very special as it comes with its original box and packaging dated 1967 and addressed to the issued officer in England. This was the last mechanical winding (as opposed to quartz) watch supplied to the British armed forces and in fact these watches were the last mass produced mechanical watches made in England.
