1967 Omega Speedmaster Professional “Pre-Moon” Cal. 321 Chronograph Ref. 145.012-67 with Original Ref. 1039 /516 Bracelet Dated Jan. 1968 All Original One Owner From New
One of the best “pre-moon” Speedies I have ever seen or owned. All original. Bought from the son of the original owner. Stored in a drawer since 1983! This a superb example of one the iconic watches of the twentieth century and which seem to be going rapidly up in value all the time. This is the exact year and model that Neil Armstrong wore on the Apollo XI moon-landings mission, perhaps thats why! A fantastic Omega Speedmaster Professional Pre-moon with the legendary Cal. 321 movement in superb and untouched condition, bought directly from the son of the first owner, who used it for a few years and then stored it away and nobody has touched it since. Never polished with its original Omega crystal (with the small Omega logo in the centre, original Tritium stepped dial in mint perfect condition and with its original hands (usually these have been replaced with later versions) the lume has turned a lovely creamy colour and matches that on the hands. It also retains its original old-style Tachymetre bezel.
