Lovely piece of horological history. This Omega watch was one of a special order in the heart of WW2 by the British MoD for R.A.F. Pilots.
It was issued to fighter pilots and ground crew fighting the Luftwaffe.
Fully serviced and under Warranty for a year, it is a robust daily wearer but a wonderful piece of military history your wrist.
The current example is all original with its original blue-steeled hands on a special original finish Omega dial which has just the right amount of natural aging to it with an even creamy patina across it.
The Duralim case is in really superb condition, still with very sharp edges. It retains its full length lugs (rarely seen as many were cut down and redrilled). The original military fixed bars are present between these lugs.
It has a stainless steel back with the correct model reference “2292” stamped on the inside and the correct RAF Stores reference, 6B/159 and unique military issue number on the outside.
