These watches are rarer in that 1979 was the only year in which CWC watches were issued to the R.A.F. as opposed to far more common W10 versions issued to the Army.
1979 RAF 6BBs are fairly are much less common than the standard W10 models the W10s were issued in 1976,1977 1978 1979 and 1980 before the first quartz G10s were introduced into service the Navy’s batches was only came to around 600 watches far less than the Army or RAF ones.
Excellent original condition, this rarer 6BB CWC is a classic issued British Military watch. Dial, case and hands are mint and in excellent condition. Running very strongly and recently serviced.
