1960 Rolex Oyster Perpetual GMT Master Reference 1675 “El Cornino” with Pointy Crown Guards Case and Original Gilt Dial Pepsi Bezel and on its original JB USA Rolex Jubilee Bracelet.
The Rolex GMT-Master is a highly collectible and sought-after gilt dial reference 1675 with case production from the second quarter of 1960.
This watch features an original open chapter ring dial with gilt writing and tritium lume plots.
The case features the Pointy Crown Guards (“PCG”) that are only on these early versions of the GMT-Master. The case is sharp with nice chamfered edges and full crown guards and unpolished with just some usual wear. The case is 40mm in diameter not counting the PCG.
The dial is original with original lume as is the bezel insert which has faded naturally to a beautiful hue.
The Rolex calibre 1570 (1575 Base) automatic movement is serviced and running beautifully.
The watch comes on its original Rolex Jubilee bracelet made in the U.S.A.
