1943 Omega WW2 R.A.F. Pilot’s Watch Cal. 30T2 with 6B/159 Issue Markings on Case-Back Ref. 2292 with Provenance
SOLD
The dial has a lovely original even creamy patina giving it that special vintage look!
The original blued-Steel distinctive hands are present. Crucially, the original lugs are full-length and undamaged (so many that you see have had their lugs cut down after breakages it snapping).
This is a truly beautiful watch in bright, original condition with just the right amount of WABI from its military history for that classic vintage look.
What makes this watch extra special is that I bought it from the Great Nephew of the Airman to whom it was first issued in WW2! The new owner will be supplied with name of the RAF Officer who wore this watch. Also, it looks to be on its original 1940’s strap! What a find!
The watch will also be supplied with a brand new NATO strap so that the new owner can enjoy both.
Watch is keeping perfect time and comes with our free 12 Month’ Warranty new Presentation Box and Certificate of Authenticity.
