Description
This is, without doubt, the best original Omega WW2 Pilot’s watch that we have ever seen. Military issued to a pilot in the Fleet Air Arm but lightly used and in mint condition.
The case is in absolutely outstanding condition with full length fixed bar military lugs.
The steel caseback has the military issue marking HS^8 with military broad arrow and Issue number 3089 stamped on the outside and Omega Reference Number 2292 on the inside.
The movement is signed Omega Swiss 16 jewels and numbered 9822841 dating this watch to 1943 right in the heart of WW2.
A rare unmolested example of one of the most iconic military watches of today. Harder and harder to find, especially in this condition as collectors snap them up!
