1943 WW2 Pilot’s Watch with Papers and Military Issue Markings on Case-Back incl. Letter From the Original Pilot with War-Time History History On its Original Bonklip Flying Bracelet
This watch was issued to a pilot flying with the Royal Navy Air RNAS 1843 Squadron, flying Cosairs I I I s off HMS Aribiter in 1944 in action in the Pacific against the Japanese. The last picture shows the Squadron on the deck of HMS Arbiter. This is a rare find. An Omega pilot’s watch from 1943 with a letter from its original pilot owner detailing its war-time with RNAS 1843 and subsequent history.
