1964 “Ed White” Omega Speedmaster Ref. 105.003 Pre-Moon Pre-Professional No Crown Guards Straight Lugs Case All Original Applied Logo Dial, Hands and Correct Bezel Comes On Rare New Old Stock Corfam Omega Strap and Vintage Omega Buckle

This watch comes on a very rare new old stock unused and unworn Omega signed Corfam strap – which is exactly the same 19mm strap Omega would have supplied in 1964 and on which this watch would have been sold when new! This is the Omega Speedmaster worn by Ed White, the first American Astronaut ever to make an EVA (Extra Vehicular Activity) space walk during Gemini IV mission in June 1965. It is also the Speedmaster model tested and chosen by NASA in preparation for all the Apollo missions and as such, some time later in 1965, the Speedmasters acquired the “Professional” name on the dial but this model pre-dates that as it was the exact model chosen for the tests. It is a highly desirable and highly collectible wristwatch which is still a classic today.
