1968 British Army Military Issued Watch with Military Issue Markings W10 6645 on Case-Back and Broadarrow with Original MOD Dial Dating from 1968 in Superb 100% Orignal Condition
This is one of the best example of a Smiths British Military issued watch we have seen. It dates from 1968 and was one of the last mechanical winding (as opposed to quartz) watch supplied to the British armed forces and in fact these watches were the last mass produced mechanical watches made in England. The watch is engraved ‘W10 on the case-back, indicating it was issued to the British Army in 1968. The gilded and signed calibre 115 movement has 17 jewels and hacking centre seconds.
