Sharp case in Very nice condition with clean strong lines.
The original Rolex movement was recently fully Serviced and the original Rolex bracelet has been Ultrasonically cleaned.
I bought this watch from a friend of mine whose dad (who was in the Special Operations Executive during WW2) bought the watch new in 1982 from Watches of Switzerland. Unfortunately, although the son remembers seeing the original paperwork from Watches of Switzerland, it cannot at the moment be located amongst his Late father’s possessions.
Rare to find in such a clean 36mm Oyster case which has remained thick but with some expected wear notes from use. In worn but great shape.
One of the brightest and nicest dials in a Rolex Explorer 1016 you will find currently on the market, immaculate with a killer matte black dial and matching white hands and hour markers in (now dead) Tritium.
