This is a really stunning example of the WW2 British Military Officer’s Watch by Timor, one of the so-called “Dirty Dozen” series of 12 brands of issued watches. All were issued towards the end the Second World War. It has a stunning condition Original Condition British MOD Dial.
The 36.5mm solid stainless steel case has very little wear and this watch is in excellent overall original condition.
The hands, dial and case are all original to the watch, as are the lume plots, which have turned a beautiful colour with an even patina, over the years. The hands and lume plots are matching.
This Timor WWW is one of the few to house a movement adjusted to four positions. The movement is in superb condition, has been serviced and keeps excellent time.
A watch with real history, collectability and wearability in it. This piece tells a story and is a real gem to look at on the wrist.
