Vintage 1993 RAF Pilot’s Chronograph 2nd Generation Model British Military Issued with Broadarrow and Issue Numbers 6645-99-8149181 on the Case-Back Bought Directly From RAF Pilot
Best example we have ever seen of this model, this watch was bought directly from a serving female R.A.F. pilot and is in superb condition and a great looking British Military Seiko Royal Air Force Pilot’s Generation 2 model with correctly stamped British Military issue markings on the case-back. Very desirable and collectible watch due to its military history and practicality and functionality as chosen by the British Armed Forces for use primarily by its pilots. It has a quartz chronograph movement and a sandblasted all stainless steel case with fixed military bars for operational reasons. The dial is mat black with subsidiary seconds at the 6 position, and the thirty minute elapsed timer at 12. there is a twenty four hour time representation at the 9 position, which is for pilots to calculate flight plans across different time zones. The inner bezel has sixty second markings and the chronograph sixty second recorder is the sweep hand. Some light marks to the case as to be expected in an ex-military watch. The mineral glass crystal, however, is perfect and scratch free. The case-back has the British Military issue numbers: 6645-99-8149181-1255-93- meaning that it was the 1,255th watch issued in 1993 – and has the traditional British Military Broadarrow mark. Fully serviced and all functions working perfectly. Keeps perfect quartz time and all the chronograph functions work perfectly and return to zero. New battery and glass just fitted. Many more high resolution photographs of this watch are available upon request.
