This watch is a military watch collector’s dream.
Just imagine this watch on the wrist of a young Battle of Britain Spitfire pilot and then look at it’s amazingly well preserved condition because it is made entirely of stainless steel unlike its later version in 1943 made using the Duralim mid-case.
The case is the super rare all stainless steel version with the mid-case being steel as well as the caseback (unlike the later 1943 Duralim cased versions that weren’t built to last).
The proud and fluted winding crown on these WW2 Longines is one of the nicest on any military watch and certainly a stand out feature on these collectible military Longines watches. Many more high resolution photographs of this watch are available upon request.
